Comprehension sheets – read the caption and complete the pictures. This should be done as independently as possible.
Read your school reading book to an adult.

Make a model with Lego or set up a scene with your toys. Take a photo and write a caption for the photo.
Let the child use their phonics to sound out words, they might write:
My horse is jumping the bricks and the man is selling hot dogs. The girl with the brown hair is waiting for a turn too.
Encourage them to use as much detail and description as possible.
Welcome! I hope you all had a lovely break. Our big question this term is 'Where would you rather live England or Kenya?' We will be exploring this question through all areas of the curriculum. The Christina Value we are focusing on this term is 'Compassion', which we will link where appropriate to our learning and during our Worships.
Forest School and PE is on a Thursday every week - don't forget your PE kit and Forest School clothes.
