Summer term

I am very excited to be welcoming back our Year 6s for the final term of primary school. I hope you are all rested after our exhausting residential week.

This term our Christian Value is Truthfulness . We will start the term with RE Week when we will be learning about the beliefs of Humanists and similarities and differences to our Christian beliefs. In English, we will be using persuasive writing to advertise our Victorian afternoon tea. We will be researching Victorian afternoon tea in DT and enjoying our own in the sunshine (hopefully!). Our Geography unit is a local study where we will be focusing on Dover's Hill and our school surroundings. In Science we will be learning about light.

Mr Cooper will continue to take Year 6 for PE on Monday mornings, so please ensure you come to school in your PE kit. Homework will be given out on Monday to be handed in on Friday. Spellings and times tables should be practiced every week.

Class Routines

On Mondays, please come to school in your PE kit. You do not need to bring your school uniform as you will spend the day in your PE kit. Winter PE kits are black jogging bottoms, school PE T-shirt and school jumper please. A coat may also be worn outside.

Please ensure that you bring a coat with you to school. It is important that we are able to go outside and get some fresh air whenever possible.
